Indicators of the sterilization process – both for steam, ethylene oxide, and plasma sterilization are water-based, non-toxic, applied to the surface of the paper, and allow differentiation of sterilized packages from those that have not yet undergone the sterilization process. They change color as a result of the sterilization process, thus indicating the completion of the procedure. In accordance with ISO 11140-1.
Silicon adhesive is resistant to +180 degree Celsius (for a long-time sterilization) and to +300 degrees Celsius (short-time sterilization). All adhesive tapes are based on viscoelastic polymers, which have been applied to a silicon-based film, sheet or substrate of high strength paper. The adhesive is heat-resistant and solvent-resistant and can be used on glass, ceramic, plastic and metal.
